Significant Investment from the Department for Education

Thanks to the Department for Education (DfE) funding, this project represents the largest investment in 3P合辑鈥檚 history, aimed at modernising and transforming the Merrist Wood College and University Centre facilities. This funding is part of the DfE鈥檚 initiative to upgrade educational infrastructure across the UK, ensuring students benefit from state-of-the-art teaching and learning environments.

State-of-the-Art Facilities for Future Generations

The redevelopment at our Surrey-based campus will include cutting-edge facilities designed to meet the evolving educational needs of our community. These enhancements are aligned with 3P合辑鈥檚 commitment to providing industry-standard learning spaces that support hundreds of learners each year.

Transforming Land-Based Education in Surrey

This project will deliver sustainable, low-carbon buildings and new glasshouses, supporting land-based skills development and accommodating future learners. Scheduled for completion by April 2026, these new facilities will ensure Merrist Wood College remains at the forefront of land-based education.

Jo Manser, Group Director at Merrist Wood College, added:

鈥淭his investment is a major milestone in our 81-year history. We are excited to continue our legacy in land-based education while integrating new technologies and collaborative initiatives that benefit both our learners and the local Surrey community.鈥

The redevelopment will not only strengthen the college鈥檚 ability to provide top-quality education but will also ensure that facilities can meet the future needs of all learners, particularly in the development of land-based skills.
